The balloon car project was a project that was conducted to test our knowlage of forces. The question was; what car, using homemade building materials, would travel 5 meters the fastest. We had to use Mr.Ozeni's 9 inch balloons so that everything would be fair but besides that the objects that could be used for materials was pretty open. The only rule was that you could not use something was originaly supposed to be a car, for example you could not use a car model to be be the body. For our car we used a lego platform, blue balloon, small plastic tube, 4 CDs, 4 tin can lids, 2 wooden chopsticks. Using these materials we made a balloon car that went 0.89 meters per second. Ours is one of the few cars that made it all of the way to 5 meters but it only made it on the third and final trial. The name of our car was the P.O.S.S.
